How to put the space key back into place

#1 Post by tokjdm » Thu Sep 14, 2006 7:21 am

Something stupid happened. I was cleaning the keyboard of my T43p and the space key fell. The key is intact but I don't understand how it should be put back in place. There is nothing on this on the Lenovo site.

This has never happened to me, but In case, if there's a clip, try first making the clip to fit in the guiding rail on the key and then press it on the designated space. Quite tricky, but you should be able to figure out how to place it correctly

It is tricky but you can ´snap´ it back in like benottmex said.

Ps Never use a vacuum cleaner to clean the keyboard...!

I am not sure if this applies to the Space Key or not, but perhaps it does. http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=6748

This was helpful thanks. I managed to put it back but this is really not very simple.
