HD with OS win 2000 on it for X20

I need a hard disk with win 2000 on it for my X20. I can't get it to work.
I tryed putting win 2000 on my HD in A t40. (put the X20 HD in the T40 and than putting it back) but it doesn't work.
HD can be 12 GB or 20 something.
Can please someone help me with out buying a X2 deck for my X20?

I might be able to help with this one. I have three external slim USB powered and operated CD ROM drives. They are the identical to the model that IBM sold about 5-6 years ago as IBM labeled external units.

They work as boot devices for X-series (all the way back to the X20) machines (and others).

I could send you one of these so you can install whatever OS CD you want on the X20.

I'm happy with $25 plus shipping to Europe - you choose the method.

It doesn't weigh much and does come with a USB cable.
