Does anyone know the exact model number of the 100 gb Hitachi HHD that comes with the Z60m 2531 MTU.

there are two 100GB drives for this machine and two manf for each drive

one 5400 and a 7200

one HGST one Seagate

if you give me your serial number i can find exactly what drive was shipped with your machine..

Your drive is one of the two above. If it's a Hitachi, the FRU part number is 39T2627. You can go to Windows Device Manager to find Hitachi's model number for the drive.

In case you care, my 2531MTU came with the Toshiba MK1032GSX
