Removing the "My Bluetooth Places" icon on my T60p

#1 Post by rcurley55 » Sat Sep 16, 2006 9:36 am

Hi Everyone,

I just got my T60p and so far, so good. But there's one annoyance - the My Bluetooth Places icon on the desktop. I can't delete it, it can't be removed under the preferences of the desktop (like the recycle bin can).

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to get rid of this thing?

Thanks in advance.

This was annoying for me too at the start. Right click on desktop, go to properties, click on 'desktop' tab, click on the 'customize desktop button' and go to 'clean desktop now' , somewhere there you'll get the choice to move the My Bluetooth away to somewhere else out of sight.

Obnoxious, huh? Tweak UI has the ability to remove this icon and most any other one. Get it from Microsoft.

Latest Btooth update gives you a right click option to delete the icon from the desktop :)
