Thinkpad explodes in LAX -- Will they get banned?

According to the story, a ThinkPad exploded at LAX. One of the reason's I bought my ThinkPad over a Dell was because Dells were getting banned from airplanes. Now I am getting worried.

Plus, I don't like the idea that my notebook could explode while sitting on my lap.

It would be interesting to know if the battery was an original IBM one or one from a third party...

What model does that Thinkpad look like? T40?
