Best Battery Optimizer

I really hate how the Pentium M 1.3 Ghz chip on my T40 goes down to around 600Mhz when im not using it, It makes the system feel slower.

OIm currently using the IBM battery maximizerm.

I need to know what the best program is to ontrol my systems power and controls.

I am surprised you can notice it. I have run Mobile Meter on screen when opening applications or using applications heavily. The CPU skoots up to full speed in the blink of an eye. Perhaps your T40 has a slow hard drive. My T41 came with a slow hard drive and *that* you can certainly notice. ... JD Hurst
