ThinkPad Gurus, question about parts compatability.

I recently picked up a dirt cheap T23. Great machine, but I want to add internal wireless to it. It doesn't have the antenna specific hinges. However looking around on eBay I've found several sets of hinges with antennas from T30s. My question is, will T30 LCD hinges be compatible with T23 plastics?

I have been off of the board for a while so I don't know if this topic has been beat to death yet or not but there are a couiple of options.

1- You cold get the actual antenna and lid for the T23. This is the expensive but would be the most "correct" way to set it up.

2- You could use the antenna from a T30 or any other wireless laptop. You would just run them up behind the LCD and attach them. If I remember correctly there won't be a whole lot of room but you can persuade it.

The T30 hinges themselves will not fit into a T23.

Kinda figured the T30 hinges wouldn't work in my T23. All is not lost though. I found an auction that has the hinges, antennas & all plastics for a T23 for $11.00 shipped. Can't beat that.
