can my 2nd monitor auto-enable when set in my dock?

I have a t41 with a mini-dock, an external secondary monitor, and am using ultramon.

I take my laptop with me a lot, and it's a bit annoying having to enable my 2nd monitor everytime I set my laptop in the dock (or disable secondary when I remove it).

Is there a way to tell windows or ultramon to enable/disable the 2nd display automatically?

I'm using ultramon and enables the external monitor automatically when I plug into the dock. I don't recally having to change any settings to make that work. Do you have your external set as the primary display? Do you manually disable the external when you undock?
