Will an x31 boot from a cd-rom drive in a USB enclosure?

It did with my no-name usb floppy drive, so i gues it will be booting form any other usb device as well.

did with my no-name brand DVD-ROM enclosure, as well as my Liteon Slim combo.

Just make sure you upgrade the Embedded Controller Program and BIOS before that. Sometimes the older BIOS version doesn't recognize non-IBM USB drives.
