T42p. I use the automatic software installer so all of my drivers and IBM/Lenovo software should be the most current available.

I've searched for answers but most things I've read are over my head so I have to ask. (I'm not a computer professional)

I have it set up to swipe my finger once to log on to windows XP. This worked good for me for a long time. After an update a while back, it started requiring me to swipe my finger a second time for some security reason. This message times out after two minutes. If I'm busy and don't hang around for the second swipe, it has timed out when I come back and I have to click on a message box and swipe it then.

I only want to do this once, when I log on to windows. How do I keep it from asking me a second time?

Perhaps un/re-installing the the software will help.
