Thinkpad 240 Compact Flash hard disk

#1 Post by mmthomas » Thu Sep 21, 2006 3:34 pm

I purchased a CF to 44 pin IDE disk converter. It works on my thinkpad 600e allowing the cf to be system disk.

TP 240 does not even recognize the cf adapter. I am using a normal TP240 caddy and the socket for the disk accepts the CF adapter OK.

Any ideas?
