Do new T-series typically have issues later in series don't?

Historically, is it just as smart to buy newly announced T-series models ASAP as it is to wait a while so that Lenovo can correct any issues early adopters report? Or is this a non issue that almost never happens?

Lenovo is supposed to announce some new T-series models in October. I'm too new to Thinkpads to know if, when Lenovo starts shipping a new T-series machine model, the first machines out the door typically have issues that are later fixed in the machines shipped after a few weeks or months.

Is it smart (and safe) to buy new models as soon as they come out? Or is is smarter to wait a while?

Thanks!!

Well, they aren't the T60s; by that I mean that most, if not all, of the issues they might have had on the T6X Series line have gotten corrected now that the T60 got released. So unless they do something really radical to it, there should be little to no issues for the early adopters. :)

Yet one never does know for sure.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
