2xOS windows + linux

#1 Post by mattbiernat » Tue Sep 26, 2006 2:32 am

does anyone know if its possible to run two OSs at the same time? for example run linux and windows from two separate hard drives. Or maybe Mac OSX and Windows at the same time.

If one is operating within a VM, it is easy. You could also play with the way the system suspends and have it suspend out of BSD or Linux, resume into Windows, then go back into BSD or Linux later.

Although, if you want pure real time for multiple OSes on one CPU and different HDDs, then your best bet would be something like VMware or similar virtualization software. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
