I have a T41p and an X22 networked to a home media server. The T41p is using the built-in a/b/g wireless. The X22 is using a Linksys 802.11g card.
I find that the X22 with the Linksys is 4x faster than the T41p. Both machines show the connection as 54mbps, however, when copying a 1.3GB file the X22 takes 10 minutes, the T41p takes more than 40 minutes.
Both files are being copied from the same server. What could be causing the difference in performance?
