returns.. 30 minutes on hold & waiting

I call 800-IBM-7235 (Returns)... & listen to a high rate of "your call is important to us.." & bad classical for 30 minutes.. nothing else.

Is there another way to return my thinkpad?

i remember first time around i waited with that crappy music for a while too, and never got helped.

check your invoice that came with your thinkpad. i remember i used the number off of that to make my return, and i got a rep a lot faster.

i think the number is near the box that has the IBM National Return Center address in it.

It was difficult finding the phone number for a return authorization number, but once I did it was less than a minute wait. Maybe it would be better to call back early in the morning.
