Willl ESATA go mainstream like USB2?

#1 Post by skoor » Sat Sep 30, 2006 10:57 pm

So far have not seen any notebooks with native ESATA ports built-in.. I did add to card to my T60P, but it would be nice just to have a port like USB.

Anybody seen any articles?

Since all devices using ESATA require some kind of external power source, I seriously doubt it.

the future is wireless USB

SATA PCMCIA cards are cheap enough that i think you should just get one of those
