Lately, I've been seeing a lot of idle failures whenever I attempt to burn disks with the MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-822S on my T43. I am using Nero 6, and am attaching the log of a recent attempt to this message. This is occuring even after a fresh reinstall of Windows.
If I need to request a replacement drive, what information will I be asked for? Will they need to go through some sort of diagnostic of their own, or will they just do a swap without making me jump through hoops?
TIA for any info,
--Al
