Upgrade A20P CD/DVD drive

My (4 year old) A20p (2629-62G) DVD drive can read virtually anything except DVD-+RW DVDs.
I was wondering if there are any upgrade suggestion for this? For example I note that IBM ships a DVD rewiter drive would such a drive be able to read DVD-RW created on another burner (or + for that matter)? Could I just pop such a drive in and load drivers or maybe XP Pro would install them.

If possible does anyone know the part number and could suggest a supplier?

I change the original CD-DVD with a CD-RW TEac 224 and is working fine on my A20P 2629

Bill, Thanks for that. However I'm particularly interested in finding a DVD drive that will read DVD+/- RW DVDs. I figure if IBM supply a DVD/RW drive for the A20P that must read DVD/RW of some kind?
