R51 15" display problem. Is that service issue...?

Hi everybody

I've recently purchased R51 with 1400x1050 display. It works perfectly fine except one little matter: when a white rectangle is placed over blue background (i.e. an explorer window in the middle of the desktop) there is a white 'shade' all over the display from top to bottom with the width of the displayed white rectangle. It is not always clearly seen except when you move the window around the desktop, and this vertical shade follows the window. This never happens when background i pure black.

This is how it more or less looks like: http://www.wyrostek.pl/problem.jpg

In the beginning i though of it as of an attribute of R51 displays but now i am not sure whether this is not a defect. Did any owner of R51 notice somthing like this on their display? I want to decide whether to put my laptop in for a service.

Thanks in advance!

Actually I would find it very disturbing.

Does the same problem appear on an external display? If so it is propably not related problems with the LCD panel and I would definatly have ibm service tha machine.
