T42 & Uj-822S Problems

I have a t42 with UJ-822S multiburner firmware version 1.05. I use nero to burn DVD"s and images. I find everytime I burn large images..say above 4gb I find I have a lot of damaged sectors or bad sectors towards the end of the disc. I use Nero 7 to burn and Nero Scandisc to check the integrity.

Is this is a problem with my burner or Nero. I use good quality TDK discs and have also tried with Verbatim so cannot see this as the problem.

Any suggestions and if the problem is the multiburner can I claim under warranty
