T23 WIFI Antenna instalation

Guys:

Has any of you actually isntalled a wireless antenna for a t23. My model doesn't include the antenna so I'll have to get one and install it. I'd like to know if anyone has done this and where did they get the parts.

It actually gives me the part #'s for the antenna and hinges, but IBM apparently doesn't sell them. Any input will be great.

It's not so difficult, especially if you have some experience. Just follow the Hardware Maintenance Manual's instructions. You can order the parts from IBM. Just go here and enter the FRUs.

mmm well I think I know what I have to get.

Antenna Hinges(FRU 26P9196) $21.50
Antena Asembly (FRU 26P9197) $50.00

BUT, I see that their is a LCD cover with antenna (FRU 46L4910) $39.00

Could this cover actually have the hinges and antenna already installed? I highly doubt it. How could I verify this?

Exactly, I followed Flatdaft' s excellent instruction and I managed it!
