WTB: Something to fill battery space in TP600

#1 Post by AlphaKilo470 » Thu Oct 05, 2006 7:35 pm

I would like to buy a working battery for my TP600 but after finding out my school has outlets at every seat, I've pushed working battery down to the luxury item list. Now I'm just looking for something to fill the battery space whether it be a working battery or not.

Alright, thanks. Yeah, I think I remember you mentioning at one point that you had plenty to go around.

Thanks Steve, I received the dead battery today and as luck would have it, I was able to take it apart and replace the cells with those pulled from an A21 battery I butchered awhile back and it actually seems to work as I was able to run my 600 off battery. I'll see how good it actually works once it's done charging.

Why not just fill an empty battery case with the banana's? You might get hungry in class. For long exams, you need an edge.

Very nice forum and people, that's why I try to offer or buy things here.

Alex, glad to hear that you rec'd the battery and that it worked out well for you.

Just realized that my initial post said "empty" 600 series batteries. My apologies if you were expecting en empty shell, as apparently another member was. I edited my post to reflect that they are DEAD batteries and not EMPTY batteries.

Well, the cells are more degraded than I though thus they aren't much more useful than a  as per underclocker's suggestion but at least I accomplished something. I'm also happy to report I finally found an excuse to use the  emoticon.
