R30 wont start

Hello,
My Thinkpad R30 wont start.

If hld power button ligt standby mode and power led green but wont start. Press Fn but nothing... out with the battery nothing. new full battery inside nothing...

where is the problem?

Hey I've got the same problem with my r30, press the power button and there is a brief flicker of the lights and then just the power and the standby stay on. Sounds like there is a bit of hard drive activity but nothing. Tried taking out the hard drive, the memory, nothing. Tried that 10x power button pressing thingy, nothing. Any ideas? At all?

I believe I have same or similar problem with my 2611-1400-412. http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... ht=standby I hope one of the techi's can help out. I have bkmk this and will continue to monitor any additional posts.
