hi this is my first time here is there anyway to test a 1.8 cpu to find out if it is good or not my libm t30 i have wont boot the screen is blank nothing on it the fan runs and all the lights come but nothing

I'm going from memory, but I believe if you pull the keyboard (two screws on the bottom, marked with double arrows), and then the CPU fan which is held in by three phillips head screws (there may also be a small bracket to the left which may need to be removed as well) you should then have access to the CPU.
The ZIF socket for the CPU then has a standard flat blade screw which you turn to unlock the socket so you can pull the CPU out.
You can then just pop the new chip, in of course making sure to REINSTALL THE CPU FAN before powering on! Also the ribbon cable comming from the keyboard will also need to be at least plugged in to make the unit functional.
