T61p Display problems - Driver? Memory? w/ Image

#1 Post by alebest » Mon Oct 09, 2006 9:31 am

Hello,

I just got a new X61p and it is having display problems. They seem to crop up when I come back from suspend, and the way to fix them is to turn POWERPLAY on and back off in the ATI control center.

Before this, I had POWERPLAY on, and the computer would crash when coming out of standby.

Is this probably a memory problem or a driver problem? Seems like a driver problem to me, but there is no update yet! See the image (lines through icons), and let me know if there is an easy answer.

Thanks!

Alejandro

X61p..??? T61p in the subject line..!???
some confusion going on here..

would you mind taking a photo of this X61p or T61p and emailing it to me..? :)

and posting the model number (from the black label on the bottom) here..?

so far there is no X61p..
the closest would be an X41T (tablet) or an X60s..

after you reply to what the model you have really is, we'll be able to help..
and if you have an X60 model this thread will need to be moved to the correct conference..
