IBM Cover coating?

#1 Post by dbyun » Mon Oct 09, 2006 9:22 pm

hey, I dont have a cover for my computer and would rather not get one, is there an alternative such as a skin? because the corners of the top are being worn out to the plastic. I hope the coating is just for cosmetic reasons.

The carbon foil mod described here may be an option for you. The original poster provides a link to photos of his notebook.

The only way to prevent these scuffs is to be careful and avoid knocking your computer around. Otherwise, you could always try saran wrap...
