WTB - ThinkPad Ultrabay 2000 hard disk drive adapter

#1 Post by jeroenp » Tue Oct 10, 2006 1:42 pm

My current one broke (it causes continuous beeps when inserting in both my old A21p and my old A20p), so I'm seeking a replacement

"Thinkpad Ultrabay 2000 hard disk drive adapter"

(it is known as FRU 08K6067, and as both Part 08K6067 and 08K6066)

Anyone want to sell this and either ship to New York (USA) or Amsterdam (Netherlands)?
If so: please e-mail jeroen.pluimers.otc@gmail.com

Have you tried using compressed air to blow out both ends of the connectors? Sometimes, things can get in there, and cause a less than satisfactory connection.

As for buying one here....they are generally few and far between, as most people that buy them, keep them, because they are soooo useful.

A bit late reaction, because my T42p broke ("fan error") and got repaired under warranty.

Thanks for the tips.
Compressed air didn't work, but I found some on the German EBay site.

Cheers!
