Recommend PCI graphics card for Dock II?

Hi, I'm wondering what half-size PCI graphics card would be best to get for my T42 with Dock II. Planning to run two 24" displays, either both from the replacement graphics card or one from the ATI Radeon 9600 that's in the Thinkpad and one from the external card. I have heard there can be compatibility problems with some cards. At the moment I have ATI Catalyst installed, and ideally I'd like to be able to control both displays (or all three - the two 24" displays and the laptop LCD) from the ATI control panel. Is there a Radeon 9600 that I can get to fit the PCI slot? Would that work?
