I like the description :D.

Pianowizard, the t60 rocks even more than the earlier T series models. I guess I had a uncommon example - I am now sure that T60 is amongst the top thinkpads ever. Once I got my palmrest replaced, I literallly can't keep my eyes and hands off the T60!
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Rules of the road :thumbs-UP:

It has always been my contention that the t60 is one solid son of a [censored] too. I was a bit disheartening to hear the unfavorable responses of it's overall sturdiness. I think the 15" form factor may or may not be more problematic in the area of sturdiness.

while my T60p 200794U 15 inch model is built like a [censored] brick i would not entertain the though of actually USING it like a brick..
no flex, no creaks just a generational improvement over most ALL previous thinkpad models of similar stature..
the only caveat is the A31p with 2 ultrabays was a real winner and the 770Z WAS a brick..

the OP should take the time to chat with customer satisfaction at lenovo..
NO ONE wants such things said about its flagship model..

especially in the face of overwhelming commentary in opposition to the "loose as a goose" original post..

:SH!: applies.. :)
