Warranty Expired, Upgradeable/Extendable?

#1 Post by Kwak » Fri Oct 13, 2006 6:54 am

If you decide to buy a used T60 notebook with an expired warranty,

1. can the new buyer upgrade/buy new Lenovo warranty (extended)?

2. is there a way to purchase the Recovery CD?

And would there be any hardware and software conflict if you (U.S.) purchase a T60 from Europe?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure about the warranty.

You can buy the Recovery Discs, however you can only get the version that originally shipped with that ThinkPad. If it came with Danish XP Home, then that is all you can get.

Thanks for the reply GomJabbar.
If anyone knows about the warranty upgradeability or if such upgrade/extension is not an option, let us know. Thank you. :)
