fila, most sites and ebay selles in the US only ship to US and Canada, and some even restrict shipping to the lower 48 states !

Also, most seller will ship only to a confirmed address, that is the one where credit card bills are mailed.

Thus sais, there are exceptions, people willing to ship anywhere or accept other forms of payment. Of course all import taxes and duties will be on you.
T440s OK so far.
T420s NVIDIA graphics. Nice, then MB failure.
T400s Workhorse. two of'em, both faulty display with vertical stripes.
T43 °very nice° - MB reflown and dead, two of'em.
T42 15°, dead onboard wireless.
T40, dead memory slot, stolen from me
T30, stolen from me
TP600 dead

So if I understand right, the US units sell for less, right? Strange, I would figure that since the Thinkpads are made in China that they would be cheaper there. I think your best bet is to find someone on ebay who will ship to China.

BTW, just to correct your english for future use, when speaking of the country, its "America." "American" is possesive (example: American Cars).

Just saw you making that mistake, figured id correct you to imporve your english skills where i can.

It works like this: You go to a store, say "I want to buy this computer", pay for it, and take it back to China. The tricky part is finding a store that doesn't overcharge you. If you tell us where exactly your friend is going you might get some recommendations.

By the way, don't listen to people who criticize your English. You are doing just fine. I wish my Chinese were as good as your English.

To rleo25: Here is Merriam Webster's definition of "America:" (1) either continent (North America or South America) of the western hemisphere; (2) the lands of the western hemisphere including North, Central, & South America & the West Indies; (3) UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
