I know there are few posts concerning this and that aspect of Vista but I was wondering if anyone is usuing vista without VMWare and how they are finding it in terms of the Thinkpad 60 hardware... e.g. the fingerprint reader, the chip, and IMB specific software.
I have been running it on VMWare and am considering reloading it to the main HD ... or perhaps wait until the released version comes out in December or January or Febuary....
thanks in advance

Runs fine on T60 hardware. All the IBM software is basically broken though. So no access connections, fingerprint stuff, security suite... Dunno about R&R either. Although IBM is putting some of the new vista beta software up here.
In terms of drivers though, everything's fine. With Ultranav updated, I have pretty much all the IBM specific stuff I really need for daily use. Just make sure you have plenty of RAM, Vista is a hungry beast.
