Aero Turns off with Dual Monitors
I'm running Vista RC2 on my T60 w/ a 64 mb x1300... Whenever I attach an external display and do a dual monitor configuration, Vista turns off windows Aero. This used to work fine in RC1 and before, but now it keeps switching to basic mode every time I plug into another monitor. Am I going outside of the resolution that vista thinks my graphics card is capable of? Does anyone know how to force it to work?

I figured out a workaround to get it to work... Open up both the display settings and the appearance settings when only one monitor is enabled. Keep both these windows open so that the option for enabling aero is available since only one display is enabled. Then enable the second monitor in the display settings and hit apply. It will probably disable the aero effects, but the second monitor will turn on. Then select windows aero effects in the appearance settings window and hit apply. Since the option is still present, it will allow you to turn it it on.
