How to change the order of wireless priority list!
Im using windows to configure my wireless connections and there is some confusion for windows on what network to choose and stay connected to. The connection is set to automatic for my network here in my apt. but sometimes in the middle of work or for no reason in particular it sees another network and tries to connect to that. I think its because i tried to connect to that network some other time so its set to automatic. How do i remove the automatic from that network choice and keep mine the only one on automatic? And is there any setting that tells it to refresh the connection in so many minutes or why does it look for another connection like that? It always comes back to my connection until this 1 time today and it reconnected to an unsecured network with a low connection. Very very weird???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you "view wireless networks" and click on the connection you do not want, Click "connect", then after it refreshes click "disconnect". It will change it to manual instead of automatic.
Or when viewing wireless networks click "Change advanced settings" on the left, Click the "wireless" tab. It will show you all the wireless networks you have connected to. There you can change the preference order and change any connection from automatic to manual.
