Small Fn + F3 (Turn off LCD) problem

One of my X30s behaves strangely after I turn on the LCD (from moving the mouse or striking a key) from a Fn + F3 shutdown. The moment I stop moving the mouse or stop typing, the LCD turns off again.

I've been experimenting and this behavior only happens after a Fn + F3. I've got my computer up-to date on all drivers.

Any help would be appreciated.
