I can't find it, only three T60's: a 14.1 and 2 TFT 15's all non-FlexView. Customisation doesn't give me the option for FlexView and none are Core 2 Duos, just Core Duo.tomh009 wrote:check the pricing through visaperks.ca; the above Flexview model, for example, is listed at C$2294 through visaperks.

Re: TM screens vs. FlexView
I simply selected Notebooks, then "View all T series", then browsed through the long list (Flexview models were near the end). Didn't try customizing.Mr. The Guy wrote:I can't find it, only three T60's: a 14.1 and 2 TFT 15's all non-FlexView. Or PM me and I'll walk you through the steps to try find them. (I didn't look for Core 2 Duo models, though I saw those in the Z series listings earlier yesterday so they are coming ...)
The one thing I dislike about my T60/X1400 is the non-FlexView 14" screen. If I look at it dead-on the colours are good, but just a bit too high or low and it goes very dark. I also think the gamma curve on this LCD is different from most monitors, but I haven't gone through the trouble of calibrating it.

Re: TM screens vs. FlexView
This doesn't give visaperks pricing. visaperks only has a limited selection which is what I was referring to. The visaperks pricing also ends at Halloween, so I expect there maybe will be a change.tomh009 wrote:I simply selected Notebooks, then "View all T series", then browsed through the long list (Flexview models were near the end). That long scrolling without being able to narrow the selection is a real pain.

Hmmm. I didn't specifically check this one, but when I looked at the same list for the X60 prices, and then compared three different models to the standard Lenovo pricing, the prices were about 25% lower.Mr. The Guy wrote: This doesn't give visaperks pricing. visaperks only has a limited selection which is what I was referring to. I wasn't aware that the T60 was available with a 1600x1200 Hydis panel driven by the Intel integrated graphics controller. I obviously haven't done enough research, but thought that this panel was reserved for P models with dedicated ATI graphics.
The only issue that I have with my 15" IPS T60p and color calibration is that the Catalyst package constantly overrides the default ColorCal profile that I've assigned to the machine panel and to the desktop panel that I use. This prevents me from using this machine to judge color on conversions or generate output to profiled printer/ink/paper combinations.
I still rely on my PB G4 to do RAW/PS/output work as profiling my PB and Apple cinema panel have proven to be less hassle.
The recent release of the MB C2Duo machines will have me back at the local Apple shop to upgrade from the G4 shortly.

T'Pad 600e, 770x, A20p, A21p, A30p, A31p (2653-H3U), T43p (2668-Q2U) & T60p (2623-DDU)...it's an addiction.
