WTB Windows 98 SE

I need a copy of Windows 98 SE....I have only ever had 98 on cd,and now I need 98 SE....or does anyone have recovery disks for A20M? The laptop has the licsense sticker for Windows 98 SE.

If you are trying to match the COA, then you need the recovery disks, not a retail version of Win98SE...unless you get a new COA with it.

The COA on Thinkpads will only work with the recovery disks.


The retail COAs will only work with retail disks.

I have a copy of Windows 98SE that came with a Dell desktop computer. Somehow, I managed to install it on a Thinkapd 240X using the COA code on the bottom of the 240X. So, it would probably also work on your A20M, though I can't guarantee it. If you are interested, I can send you a CD-R copy of this disc, which I think is legal because you have a COA for it though correct me if I'm wrong.
