Is IBM/Lenovo sales always this slow?

Is IBM/Lenovo sales always this slow?

Its been two weeks since I placed my order to extend the warranty on my T43. The rep told me it would take 7-10 days. Is this normal processing time? This is just starting to get annoying, I mean how difficult is it to register it.. and my machine is still under the first year warranty so its not like I can demand them to extend it another two weeks for wasting my time. :roll:

That sounds a little ridiculous, I'd be on the phone/email whatever, it's a shame to have to beg them to take your money :o

lol, exactly. Very disappointing compared to their first rate tech support which is very fast and efficient. I just called in and they said the first rep I spoke to was wrong, it normally takes 2-4 weeks :lol:

That sounds about right, about a year and 8 months or so ago I extended my warranty from 1 year to 3 on my R40 and I remember that it seemed awful odd that it took so long. Also didn't receive *any* emails or any contact from them...finally called in and they could see it was in the system and I was notified a few days later that it was extended and could see it on the warranty status website.
