Mouse drag dropping suddenly

hello,
i have disabled the touch pad, and it happen in trackpoint and external usb mouse. when i am draging files around or highlighting lines in ms word, the system think that my left mouse button is loosen so the file on the drag will be dropped suddenly, or MS word will think that i want to move lines around. It happens a few times a day

anybody see this?
