R52 Issues

#1 Post by neoranjit » Wed Oct 25, 2006 3:37 pm

Hi,

I have a couple of issue with my R52.

The battery charger icon ( the green one that looks like a battery ) is no longer visible.
Also, I used to see the volume increase / decrease icons whenever I press the volume keys. ( near the access IBM key ).

I dont see any display on my monitor when i press those buttons now.. Can someone please help ?

Thanks

Ranjit

Did you try rebooting? This usually fixes the problem for me.

If reboot doesn't work, run Lenovo Software Installer to see if there are updates for the Battery utility and/or Display utility. If so, let them install.

If not, reinstall them by selecting them in the Software Installer.

Another thing you can do is to run the Battery Maximiser Wizard - that has the option to turn the green battery icon back on, if you've turned it off by accident.
