Hello All,
This is my first time to post here. I don't know if this is the right way to do so.
I bought a T60 (2623D6U) in June and followed the requirement of mail-in rebate mailing all the stuffs to Lenovo Promotional Support Center which located in Austin soon after. I called one time in August to check the status, the representative answered me they got my rebate form and everything was ok and they would send me the check soon. In September, I still didn't get anything, so I called them again. Another representative answered the phone and she told me they made my address wrong, and I should get it by end of Sept.
Till last week, I hadn't got anything from them. So I called them again, but their operating system has changed. There's no people answering the phone except an instruction to let me go to their website to get a track number, so that I can leave a message with my name and phone number as well as the track number to them, and waiting them to call me back. Then, I logged on the website http://www.rebate4U.com, but, there's no "T series" in the rebate list, which means I can not get a track number. Some of the items in the rebate list show this is only for their new rebate programs only.
So, what should I do? I've left 2 messages to them without the track number and explained the reason, but no response came back yet.
Please let me know if there's any other way I can contact them and speak to them directly? I don't want to lose a $200 check anyway.
Thank you very much in advance!
HELP: June ThinkPad TopSeller Mail-in Rebate
I just had this exact same problem. Exactly.
When you call the rebate number, 1-800-492-8595, you have to use option 1, not option 2. I know it says it's for business partners, but for whatever reason it's the only line that anyone answers, and they still helped me.
I learned that they never even got my rebate form and I wasn't in the books. I just had to fax my invoice and the check is (supposedly) in the mail now.
Like you, I was becoming incredibly frustrated.
