RnR created Extra Recovery CD's??

I created a set of recovery CD's and in addition to creating a "Startup" disk, two additional disks were created a "1C" and "Final C."

Does anyone know when in the recovery process the other two disks are utilized? Unfortunately, I'm in the process of having to restore my system back to the original factory image and it hasn't asked me for either of the two disks.
