#1 Post by atct86 » Thu Oct 26, 2006 2:31 pm

What is the best place to get a new Battery for my T40?

What are my options?

Anyone ever purchased one on ebay?

Hello, I just received a new in sealed box 9 cell sanyo battery today, and it's outstanding :)

I buyed it for 94$ including shipping to France on ebay from a great dude.

Buying one on ebay or such was the only option for me because retail price is arround 200€ here, so it was a great deal.

It took me some months to find the good item to bid on, and I was lucky that others don't have raised the price.

Does the 9 cell poke out of the normal dimensions?

Are there any extended batteries that do not poke out?

9 cell battery is the one that "poke out", and the only other option is 6 cell that don't "poke out". If you search for the "unpoked one", you can find much 6 cell new in box batteries listed on ebay at low price.

Good luck!

The other option if you want extended battery life without the 9-cell is to get the ultrabay slim battery, but that gives up the optical drive for what is, at best, an hour's boost. :)
