Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore

Two days before I installed SP2 my RR stopped working --- i tjust stopped making backups for some reason.

Now that I have installed SP2 it still didn't work so I uninstalled and reinstalled RR. After the reinstaqll I tried to set the preferences to exclude some files from the backup. Everything in the setup is fine until I get to the step to actually select the directories and files to exclude. The list display no longer expands --- all I get is the "+" sign and the drive letter; clicking on either does not display any directories or files.

Does anyone know of this as a problem induced by SP2?

Sorry, I don't have a solution for you, but: I have the same problem and I also have installed SP2.

not 100% related, but hope this helps:

my 2 mth old T42s came pre-installed SP2 & with the old (!) R&R Ultra v4.0 which works (i've successfully did backups both on HDD & on removable USB Hard Drive==>it formatted my USB HDD into NTFS & erased my data, but that's another story...)


i uninstalled R&R Ultra v4.0, and installed the newest R&R v2.02 and it also works under SP2, making system backups on my HDD.
