My ThinkPad CD-RW/DVD Combo Ultrabay Slim Drive is up for sale since I bought the multi-burner from brentpresley

Here is a photo of the actual drive - I took it out of the machine for the photos. All you get is the bare drive

I just tested the disk as I had not tried burning for a long time and the drive made 2 perfect audio disks with K3B in Linux SUSe 10.0. It also plays DVDs perfectly. It also burn disks in Windows perfectly with a different bunch of media in Nero.
