Reinstalling the OS, etc..

Loading up my "new" T23 (from T20) required reinstalling the OS. I cloned the drive with True Image but got blue-screened at bootup, so I dusted off the XP disk and bit the bullet. Now I'd like to get the "ThinkPad" button, the Vol UP and Vol Down buttons to function too. Also, my power mgmt won't blank the screen or suspend even tho I set the power properties. I've been running all the downloadable files from Lenovo Support that I think will do it, but so far no luck. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? 'Preciate it my friends!

did you try loading the Software Installer on it? it will automatically check what drivers are needed and will download and install what you need. Here is a link.

Yes, thanks for that tip. I think I'm back in business with all my keys doing the right thing. Can't stop playing with this new toy..... what a blast.
