Thinkpad or IBM sticker

Well my dear friends I really need your help.

A friend of mine has a R50e Thinkpad, well... he was so happy with his lappy... until yesterday when he left the notebook on his desk and his 7 years son spilled some hard gum on the cover lid, leaving a sticky 5"x 2" patch on it!!! of course the lid`s finish is ruined...

Well one option is to change the lid... no money for it for the time being, so I suggested one or two Thinkpad or IBM stickers, or a glossy sticker for the whole lid I saw in the pictures section the other day...

Well guys, you could help in one of these ways, telling us where to find the sticker or sending one to my surface adress please PM.

Isnt the R series just plastic, as in no ruber? Did you try some all purpose remover?

Anyway, I'd check ebay and just get a new lid for $20-30

You`re right, it is plastic, however the remover killed the lustre finish leaving a matte stain, that`s what my friend is trying to hide behind the sticker... well US$20 don`t seem expensive for it, will tell...

Look at the below product from Ideastyle - they are officially endorsed by IBM for their laptop sleeves and make some very nice (glossy) protection stickers for thinkpads.
