Will a Banias work in a T42 board?

#1 Post by mteddy » Sun Oct 29, 2006 9:02 am

Hi,

I have a T42 board with ATI 9600/M10-64 and fingerprint support. Can i but an "old" Banias 1.6 MHz in this board? Or does the board only support Dothan with 1.37 core voltage (Banias 1.48 V) ?

It's an upgrade for me: I had a T40 with defect board and I want to replace it with the T42 board.

I saw already threads (and your signature ;) ) which says it will work, but most talks about Dothan cpus. Thanks.
