Intel 2915abg eprom wiritng help needed

Just been using this with the 1802 fix.. but been thinking if i use liux to change the id of the card to the ibm version this should work fine yes ?

lspci -nv will give me the details of the card .. but will i have to do this on a machine that doesn't need the 1802 fix ... because i'm not getting the required details wehn suing on the ibm

And i can use idchanger to read and write the changes to the eprom

Is there anything i'm missing here ?

Also could some provide the pcd id and sub id for a ibm intel 2915 card .

Right i am trying to read the eprom using id changer but keep getting read fails any ideas /
