Change standby time to longer in dos for 760ED

#1 Post by kocoman » Tue Oct 31, 2006 1:27 pm

I have a 760ED and want to know how to change the timeout time when it goes into suspend (under DOS). I always have to press and hold the Fn key to bring up the computer from standby every 30 seconds.. I am running on AC only.

Thanks

Seconds? That doesn't sound right... I don't have a 760ED but I would suspect that if you are booting straight into DOS, then any power setting is being controlled by the BIOS. Perhaps checking in there would help?

It beeps once every time it goes into sleep. When I bring it out of sleep with (Fn) it beeps also. I boot it into dos and use telix as a serial console.
